After the release of Async Loading Experimental Beta in May, we are happy to announce the arrival of the 1.55 Open Beta for Euro Truck Simulator 2, which includes various improvements and new content.It will take a few weeks before the full 1.55 release, so please keep in mind that this is the first open beta iteration and it is still a work-in-progress build that will receive updates throughout the open beta period.If you want to take it for a spin, you can help contribute by reporting any bugs you may encounter in the appropriate section of our official forums. When we released our teaser titled “Next Stop: ETS2,” the community instantly understood what it signalled, and today we’re excited to confirm it. Project Coaches is now officially in development, marking the start of a brand-new driving experience within Euro Truck Simulator 2. This new addition will offer players a whole new way to explore and work in the ETS2 world. Instead of hauling cargo, you’ll be stepping into the role of a coach driver. While we’re still early in the development process, many elements are still evolving behind the scenes. We've already begun laying the foundation, from creating several coach models with characteristic handling to developing a network of bus terminals across the map (which many of you have noticed for a long time now). It's easy to forget just how much of a Steam megahit Euro Truck Simulator 2 actually is. With tens of thousands of people playing it at any given time, and a 97% rating from over 650,000 user reviews, SCS Software's in-depth cargo hauling sim is still going strong. 1.55: FH Tuning Pack Update

We have some exciting news for the upcoming 1.55 update for Euro Truck Simulator 2. Alongside this base game update, new content will be released for owners of the FH Tuning Pack DLC. This includes an upgrade to some current parts as well as the addition of new customization parts for your Volvo FH trucks! Although it is a little early for that, as this project is still a work in progress, we are happy to show you a glimpse of the work our map designers have done so far.
