Huge Fallout 2 fan remake teases players with new mod and in-universe commercial

by editor@pcgamesn.com

All these years later, Fallout 4 is the gift that keeps on giving. Bethesda dropped the next-gen update and the modding scene shows no signs of slowing down, with new creations coming out every day. We've had the DLC-sized Fallout London, and there are plenty more mods that want to completely rewrite what it means to play the game. One of these is Project Arroyo, and while we wait to finally try it in full the modding team behind it has teased us with a delightful appetizer. Not only that, we've also got an excellent in-universe commercial that could be right out of the games too. Read the rest of the story... New Fallout 4 mod makes stealth much better with new takedown animations

by editor@pcgamesn.com

What I love most about Bethesda's suite of RPGs is how they help you choose a playstyle that works best. I swing a two-handed greatsword in Skyrim and focus on sniping in Fallout, with perks and items always helping builds reflect these goals. I also love investing points and skills into sneaking, but always felt like something was missing. That's where today's new mod comes in, as it adds some extra animations to Fallout 4 to give those sneaky takedowns the extra punch they need. Read the rest of the story... After an incredible year for Fallout, the Steam Autumn sale is a perfect excuse to make time for all the old and new Fallout games none of us ever have time to play

by Elie Gould

I'm not sure if this year's Steam Autumn sale is better than usual or if I'm just desperate to feel something by cashing in on deals. Regardless, I've managed to pad out my library with Bethesda's sales, which should keep me occupied for at least the next few months... Read more.

After 3 years and a handoff to a new team, the ambitious Project Mojave mod imagining New Vegas in the time of Fallout 4 has ceased development

New Fallout 4 mod brings over the best New Vegas feature

by editor@pcgamesn.com

Every Fallout game is different. While they might look and play similar, each leverages a range of ideas and mechanics to create vastly unique experiences. Fallout 3 has an incredible sense of exploration as soon as you step outside Vault 101, New Vegas has thought-provoking and tough decisions to make around every corner, and Fallout 4 has stellar gunplay. No two games in the series are the same, and this is what makes choosing the best one nigh impossible. Mods, on the other hand, often mean we don't even need to choose. That's why this brand new FO4 mod is on my radar, because it straight up just brings over one of the best New Vegas features to The Commonwealth. Read the rest of the story...
